Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one massage therapy sessions with clients in their homes or other designated locations.
- Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on their goals, preferences, and physical condition.
- Provide ongoing support and education to clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recovery practices.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed to ensure continued results.
- Educate clients on proper post-session care, stretching routines, and the role of massage in a balanced wellness lifestyle.
- Foster a professional, relaxing, and client-centered environment that promotes comfort, trust, and satisfaction.
- Maintain professional and effective communication with clients and the GYMGUYZ team.
Qualifications
- State-licensed massage therapy certification (e.g., NCBTMB, AMTA-recognized program)
- CPR/AED certification
- 1–2 years of experience in massage therapy or a clinical/wellness setting is preferred but not required.
- Genuine passion for helping clients recover, reduce pain, and improve overall well-being.
- Strong knowledge of massage modalities, anatomy, and soft tissue techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and create a consistently positive client experience.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.
